A few plans and changes

As a few of you may have noticed, this blog now has a new contributor.  Although I'll leave it up to her to write a formal introduction (beyond her own book porn post from this past Sunday), there will be occasional pieces posted in the future on a variety of topics that hopefully will be of interest to those who sometimes find my writing to be a bit too "stuffy" at times for their liking.  In addition, she has asked me to review a certain set of books that were among her earliest fantasy reads (which I have never read), so there will be a short review of those in the near future.

In addition to this, I will be porting over from Gogol's Overcoat over the next few months several of the reviews that I have written, starting with three reviews of books by Zora Neale Hurston.  Hopefully, this will spark interest from readers other than those who are seeking to plagiarize my reviews for their high school or college papers (recently, Plagiarism Check has been visiting GO to verify the source of several student essays).

I'm back working part-time as of this past Wednesday, so there may be a few gaps here and there in blog posting.  Considering it is also college football season and that my beloved University of Tennessee Volunteers may actually be decent-to-good for the first time in five years, Saturday posting will likely be limited to the morning or late night hours.  Some things are just more important than others, ya know?
