Juxtaposition

Reading Naguib Mahfouz's Children of the Alley (Children of Gebelawi) and recalling how this work was banned in much of the Arab world over the past 50 years for its presenting of religions and their squabbles in an allegorical form.

Then I just now read about this. Buckell says just about everything that came to my mind and then some about the bigotry expressed by this one editor. Be sure to read the links, as they are worthwhile, to say the least.
