Interesting confluence of events

Going to be brief, since it's closing in on 3 AM here and I want to nap a bit before work:

May 1, 2011 certainly has seen a confluence of events.  From the International Workers Day to this year's celebration of Divine Mercy Sunday for Catholics to the news that Osama bin Laden has been killed in a firefight with US Navy SEALS, it truly has been a dia mirabilis.  I wonder what connections could be drawn from these three events.  Perhaps there is a divine mercy that such a mass murderer has had his life end in violence.  Maybe the workers will find some new benefit somehow from all this.  Or maybe it's just an interesting confluence of events that have served only to drive that silliness about a balding scion of centuries of European incest getting married off the top news segments...maybe that's it.

What do you think?
