Saturday and today, I received quite a few books. I was busy much of this weekend with other matters, so I didn't get the chance (which I shall do in a moment) to thank Liviu Suciu for sending me the six books listed below. It was a very generous gift and I'm thrilled to have these books. The second set of books arrived today, two from Tor, two that I had bought used. Now on with the book names, for those who can't read the cropped/blurred images (camera phone is messed up a bit, alas, and I'm too cheap to get a digital camera):
Top-Left: Catherynne M. Valente, The Labyrinth; Jeff VanderMeer and Rose Secrest (eds.), Leviathan 2; Angélica Gorodischer (trans. by Ursula Le Guin), Kalpa Imperial.
Bottom-Left: Anna Tambour, Monterra's Deliciosa & Other Tales; Anna Tambour, Spotted Lily; Stepan Chapman, The Troika.
Top-Left: John Scalzi, Old Man's War; John Scalzi, The Ghost Brigades.
Bottom-Left: Elizabeth Hand, Saffron and Brimstone: Strange Stories; Umberto Eco, Six Walks in the Fictional Woods.
Hope to have more photos up later this week, probably Thursday or Friday.

Need it be said? Good stuff here! I especially liked SAFFRON & BRIMSTONE and KALPA IMPERIAL....
Thanks! While I've read KI in Spanish before, I'm really looking forward to reading Hand's short story collection.
Where'd you manage to grab Troika?
Liviu sent me a copy to have. But that's a spare copy (I'm giving the other to a girl I know). I've ordered it online used (Amazon Marketplace or ABEbooks, I think) for about $15-20, so it isn't much more than the original list price.
