I meant to post this one week reminder yesterday, but I was so exhausted after returning to work from Thanksgiving Break that I fell asleep soon after arriving home. Anyways, as per
Fábio Fernandes, who chose this book, Bruce Sterling's
Schismatrix Plus will be the second Blogger Book Club entry, with a scheduled discussion date on various participating blogs the week of December 8-12.
I am going to begin reading it in the next couple of days and will have my review ready for posting by Monday night. Curious to know who else is planning to participate in this discussion or who might be interested in participating in the third installment, with chooser and book to be determined in the near future (hint: if you mention your willingness to participate, Fábio might be more likely to choose you to select the next book ;)).
Hope to see many of you participating in the coming week! And like last time, be sure to let me have a link to your review.

Oh, thank goodness, I thought it was this week.
I'm in, though I might not have my review lined up on monday as I would prefer.
I'll also be participating in the third go-round.
Sweet! I'll keep you in mind, in case Fábio forgets ;)
I plan on participating. I read the book last week, and I'm working on an instrumental piece of music based on one of the characters. I'm hoping that I will have time to record and post it for next week.
Very cool, John! I'm interested in hearing that as well as reading your thoughts on the book :D
Oh, I didn´t forget it at all - I was just posting a reminder later today. But thanks a lot for doing it! :-D
Well, I meant in terms of who gets the third round selection, that's all! :P
With sorrow I have to say that I didn't get the book in time, so this month I have to pass :(
Larry, I am sorry for LA Lakers. I am not a big fan of basketball, I am a huge fan of soccer :) But I saw an extensive highlights of the last match of LA Lakers and the end of stunning. And to score in the last second can be a great thing for the supporting fans and the worse for the other ones. Sorry, Larry. Keep your chin up :)
I forgot to get my copy out of storage so I won't be participating but I will be interested to read the discussion and I will try to read the book over the holidays and post something in the new year.
Mihai,
Yeah, I saw that score on ESPN.com. While obviously not a good score, it wasn't that dismaying, as it's just only about 1/5 into the season. It's what happens after April that matters to me.
Everythingisnice,
Whenever you do participate, just let me know and I'll add a link to it :D
