Springtime for Hitler, Book Porn

Since five more books have arrived in the past couple of days, four of them being review copies, I thought I'd go ahead and make a book porn post today rather than waiting until tomorrow. Here's the quick rundown:

Top: Ann Aguirre, Blue Diablo (very doubtful I'll read this, since I found her first novel, Grimspace, to be rather bland); A.S. Byatt, Possession (been meaning to buy/read this book for a while now, so now it'll be in the very near future); Brandon Sanderson, Warbreaker (curious to see how Sanderson will follow up on the success of his Mistborn trilogy before his completion of Robert Jordan's WoT epic fantasy series is released later this year, so likely a spring break read); Charles de Lint, The Mystery of Grace (this is advertised as de Lint's "first adult novel," so I guess that explains the tattooed woman on his cover, so he can tap both sides of the urban fantasy genre now. Likely will read by late April); Jim Butcher, Turn Coat (newest Harry Dresden novel. Uncertain when I'll read it, since I haven't read any of his works but the graphic novel prequel).

And finally, since today is the first day of spring here, I thought I'd usher in springtime with a clip from Mel Brooks' The Producers:

If you were to happen to mail that copy of Turn Coat to Washington, I think I might consider acts of a questionable nature with a squirrel. :D

Pretty please? :)

On Warbreaker..I wonder if the "real" book will have the proper (i.e. new) spelling for the SyFy channel when it hits the stores?

Byatt's Possession is one of my favorite books of all time. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Phelix,

You worry me about your squirrel obsession ;) As you know, I'll be mailing you the book in a week or so.

Jeff,

I fear to know the answer to that!

Terry,

I hope so as well!
