More Moorcock Cover Art, with 100% more Stalin!

Every good fantasy needs a robotic Stalin to scare away the Cossacks, no?

I find the notion of a novel about a robot Stalin to be beneath contempt. Who could take such a book seriously?

Exactly! Especially when it is written by an Englishman who has no concept of the Russian soul!

I really dig the sickle-fingers.

It's a nice, subtle touch. Hardly knew at first it dealt with Stalin.

I am now going to go out and buy this book. Will probably also buy a few extra copies to give to friends. Thanks for bringing it to attention.

t's been awhile since I've read this [looking at my list,
http://drjbooklist.blogspot.com,
I realize it's been over 11], but I do seem to remember that this story had very little or nothing to do with Stalin at all? I figured this was a throw away fan cover, kind of like those scantily clad women clutched in the arms of huge aliens.

Maybe I should go reread the Bastable trilogy so I can comment intelligently on this post, neh?

Ha! :-D
